Courtney’s House offers a free training on February 9
Courtney’s House is offering a free training on domestic sex trafficking in DC (DMST 101) on February 9 from 1:00-3:00 pm. The class is open to people who would like to volunteer or just learn more. If you are interested, please RSVP by February 1 to info.courtneyshouse@gmail.com. Once you’ve emailed them to reserve your space, Courtney’s House will contact you with the training location.

This month the Rev. Jalene Chase Sands of Trinidad’s Community United Methodist Church and Tina Frundt of Courtney’s House will discuss sex trafficking and commercial sex exploitation in the neighborhood and beyond and how we can fight it. Councilmember Michael Brown will join us to talk about redistricting. And, as always, we’d love to hear your community announcements!
