Another outdoor movie series is set to get you dancing from Trinidad to NoMa, hosted by the NoMa Business Improvement District. Here’s what they have to say:
Get a watermelon and head over to the debut of NoMa Summer Screen on Wednesday, May 27. The 8th year of this popular outdoor movie series kicks-off with Dirty Dancing. In addition, this year’s danciest film series under the stars will be hosted in a new location at NoMa Junction @ Storey Park, a future development site at First and L Streets, NE, that will be transformed for 2015 into NoMa’s best temporary park yet. The new site is asphalt, so we highly recommend you bring low beach chairs or cushions. The event starts at 7 PM, and films start at dark. DJs, giveaways, as well as the usual food trucks, picnicking, and more start when the doors open. All movies are screened with subtitles. 2015 NoMa Summer Screen Schedule:
The 2015 NoMa Summer Screen series is hosted by Storey Park, a 712,000 SF mixed-use project with office, retail and residential in the heart of NoMa, coming in 2017. Developed by First Potomac Realty Trust and Perseus Realty. For more information on Storey Park, visit www.storeypark.com. The event is sponsored by 2M, a WC Smith property, and Bozzuto’s NoMa properties: Elevation, Flats 130, 77H, Loree Grand at Union Place, and Senate Square. |
