Eleanor Holmes Norton at 5/24 TNA Meeting

Interested in hearing about DC budget autonomy? Wonder what is going on with the federal minimum wage? Want to learn more about Congressional oversight on our Metro system? Join us at the next Trinidad Neighborhood Association meeting on Tuesday, May 24th at the Trinidad Recreation Center (1310 Childress Street NE). The meeting starts at 7 pm and Access Interpreting will provide ASL – English interpretation.

220px-Eleanor_Holmes_NortonCongresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton will join us at the meeting to address neighborhood concerns, answer constituent questions, and share information on topics above. Other items on the agenda include Catholic Charities new office/services available to residents in the area; updates and Q&A with the Metropolitan Police Department representative; updates from the Mayor’s office, Ward 5 Councilmember’s office, and Trinidad Neighborhood Association.

Not all of our neighbors are able to access the internet for the blog or other social media outlets and we cannot flyer every residence. Please share information on the meeting with friends and neighbors. All Trinidad residents are welcome at TNA meetings and we welcome your participation!
