ANC 5D06 Commissioner Yvonne Buggs will be leading a Single Member District meeting at Joe Cole Recreation Center (1299 Neal Street NE) this Thursday, August 6th. The meeting is scheduled from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

The agenda includes:

1. Mr. Justin Thornton, Thornton Development, LLC discussing the projects at Montello and Florida Avenues. For background see our previous post highlighting zoning variances being requested of the community.

2. Bodega Market at 1136 Florida Avenue NE. They are requesting support to change their ABRA license from Class B to Class A. Please see our posting on the request for background information.

This will be an important opportunity to learn more about these projects/requests and to weigh in on whether you oppose or support them.
