Your input needed on Ward 5 economic development
The upcoming roundtable on economic development projects and programs in Ward 5 is an opportunity for Trinidad to have a voice!
There are two ways to do this:
1. Testify as an individual resident of Ward 5 (see instructions below)
2. Contribute to Trinidad Neighborhood Association’s official testimony by sharing your thoughts with us. Send us your top three concerns/recommendations for economic development in the area by Friday, February 17, and we’ll incorporate everyone’s thoughts the best we can into TNA’s testimony.
How to testify
Individuals and representatives of organizations who wish to testify at the public oversight roundtable are encouraged to register online at the Council of the District of Columbia website. Individuals and representatives also may contact Priscilla McIver, Administrative Assistant to the Committee of the Whole, at (202) 724-8196 or pford@dccouncil.us to register to testify.
When registering to testify, individuals and representatives must provide their names, addresses, telephone numbers, and organizational affiliations, if any.
Registration will be open until close of business on Monday, February 20, 2012.
Each prospective public witness must submit electronically written testimony to Ms. McIver by Monday, February 20, 2012. Individual testimonies will be allowed 3 minutes, and organizational testimonies will be allowed 5 minutes.
If an individual or representative is unable to testify in-person, a written statement may be submitted and will be included as part of the official record. Copies of written statements should be delivered to the Committee of the Whole, Council of the District of Columbia, Suite 508 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004 by Monday, February 20, 2012.
